Jordan

Jordan is a country located in the Middle East, bordered by Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Israel, and the West Bank. Its capital and largest city is Amman. Jordan is known for its ancient ruins, including the well-preserved city of Petra, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the region. Jordan’s economy is relatively diverse, with industries including tourism, information technology, and manufacturing. The official language is Arabic, and Islam is the predominant religion, although there are also significant Christian and minority communities. The current monarch is King Abdullah II, who has been in power since 1999.
